About Will

Will Walker is a Bolingbrook native but has lived all over the world. Attending DePaul University as one of the state’s top players, Will made his mark on the Lincoln Park and DePaul community. He went on to make the transition to play professional basketball in countries such as Lithuania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Saudi Arabia. These wildly distinct experiences forced Will to continuously adapt to new languages, rich cultures and traditions, and reclaim group chemistry and trust with native team-members. Will can say those experiences forever shaped his cultural lens. 

Shortly after retiring, Will embarked on starting up his nonprofit training skills company, Stay Ready Sports Co. where he quickly used his network to train youth in the community of Bolingbrook to college and NBA level clients. Creating SRS gave Will the tools to not only be his own boss but quickly learn to become his own brand marketing manager, inventory designer and community engagement catalyst. 

Will went on to reside in Streeterville, Bronzeville and Edgewater and is excited to bring his expertise and diverse network to the front lines of exploring the real estate and developments surrounding the city. Will believes his “stay ready, so you never have to get ready” focus works most effectively when preparation meets opportunity. Being the newest member of the Danny Lewis team, Will is optimistic for what’s ahead.
