A North Shore native, James Hillis enjoys a lifelong affinity for the Midwest that, in his words, has been “impossible to shake.” Today, James splits his time between Chicago and Galena, Illinois — a picturesque town in northwest Illinois less than three hours from the city — and maintains parallel MLS membership in both areas to offer comprehensive real estate services to residents throughout Illinois and Chicagoland. James pursued a career in the arts after attending Berklee College of Music, working as an artist manager, concert producer, and institutional fundraiser before shifting into business development.
