About Maria

Maria Plevritis is a lifelong Chicagoan with a deep love for the city’s unique neighborhoods, rich culture, undeniable grit, and Midwestern spirit. Raised on the Northwest Side within the Greek community, she carries those roots with her as she enjoys discovering the best of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, from local coffee shops and restaurants to walking miles along the lakefront. 

As a graduate from DePaul University and Dominican University, with degrees in business and finance. Maria brings a refined understanding of the financial landscape behind every real estate decision. She also comes from a family-owned small business background, gaining firsthand exposure to entrepreneurship and leadership from a young age.

For more than 15 years, she has owned a specialty salon in Park Ridge, cultivating long-standing relationships in the community and a reputation for exceptional, personalized service; expertise she now confidently and seamlessly extends to her real estate clients.

Maria has recently closed on multiple homes in Park Ridge, Chicago and Des Plaines, with several more under contract. She is known for her direct yet comforting communication style, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to going above and beyond. She ensures each transaction is strategic and tailored to clients’ unique needs. Guided by the experiences that have shaped her life, Maria’s ability to form genuine connections with people from all walks of life comes naturally as she helps prospective homeowners find their dream homes and support investors in building generational wealth. 

Maria serves on the Board of Trustees at the Hellenic American Academy, is a member of the Old Irving Park Association and served on the Associate Board for Chicago Scholars from 2020-2023. Her civic duty also extends to other organizations: Operation Warm, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Feed My Starving Children and Junior Achievement.
