A lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Tanisha Blakemore provides residential buyers and sellers as well as commercial investors with a wealth of professional skills and unique personal strengths. After earning her Bachelors of Science degree and completing post-graduate coursework for paralegal certification, Tanisha’s career path has encompassed both the public and private sectors. Her impressive resume includes the financial and legal departments of organizations such as a prestigious Chicago law firm and the Cook County Sheriffs Department. Throughout her career, she has honed the skills and capabilities that bring tremendous benefit to her Dream Town clients. Always focused on superior customer service, she is an effective communicator who can offer insight on legal matters as she guides clients through even the most complex real estate transaction.
With a longtime interest in real estate and development, Tanisha purchased her first investment property nearly two decades ago while still in her mid-20’s. After growing her commercial real estate portfolio and purchasing her own home, it was natural that Tanisha pursued real estate professionally—earning her broker’s license in 2019. Dedicated to helping others achieve their goals, she consistently goes above and beyond to exceed her client’s expectations, sharing her professional expertise and personal insights to ensure success. Able to engage and connect easily with others, clients describe Tanisha as genuine, relatable and caring. From her own experience, she knows the importance of home ownership and understands how real estate creates generational wealth.
Tanisha’s passion for educating and helping others extends beyond her professional life, including a number of mission trips and mentoring with local youth groups. When she is not busy assisting clients or giving back to her community, Tanisha enjoys all that Chicago has to offer. Walking along the lakefront is a favorite activity when she needs to relax or recharge before taking on the town—whether that’s hitting a neighborhood street festival, immersing in the bustle of Navy Pier, or checking out a new dining hot spot in the suburbs.
