About Otto

Otto Rivera is a lifelong Chicagoan who brings to his real estate clients a wealth of relevant experience and important abilities. With his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Master’s in Educational Leadership, and 25 years teaching for Chicago Public Schools, Otto is a dedicated professional with a life-long passion for helping others achieve their goals. Working primarily with elementary students and their families, Otto honed a variety of abilities including clear, thorough and methodical communication – an important skill given the many important details involved in any real estate transaction. And like his students, Otto’s real estate clients have come to appreciate his patience, flexibility and tenacity. 

With his extensive background as an educator, Otto is a unique and extremely effective partner for his clients. He understands the importance of establishing strong and enduring relationships that are built on trust, openness and integrity. While he is a sharp negotiator who will advocate tirelessly on behalf of his clients, he also appreciates his role in keeping them informed, educated and up-to-date at every step of the transaction. Consistent with his career as a successful teacher, Otto is always steadfastly focused on guiding his clients toward achieving their goals. Whether it’s securing the right qualified purchaser for a listing or locating the perfect home for a first-time buyer, he understands that he is successful only when he gets his clients to the finish line! 

When he is not working, Otto along with his awesome wife are kept busy as the proud parents of three wonderful children. Together, they love to experience all that Chicago and its suburbs have to offer. Regardless of the season, you will often find them exploring around town, whether that’s an enriching family visit to a museum, cheering on their favorite team at an outdoor sporting event, or enjoying a romantic date-night at one of Chicago’s many fine restaurants.
