Megan Hockinson’s brings a bounty of project management and planning skills into her real estate profession. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Interior Design, she followed her family’s footsteps into the event planning business where she excelled in designing and executing upscale events - from elaborate weddings and elegant fundraising galas to large corporate gatherings. A sharp eye for detail, excellent negotiating skills, and the ability to guide her clients with both sensitivity and expertise were just some of the keys that brought her success.

Transitioning from event planning into a real estate career was a very natural step for Megan. Both of these professions require the capacity to truly understand client needs, the discipline and dedication to oversee a long-term process from initial meeting to flawless execution, and the unique ability to translate vision into reality. Megan excels at all of these – and more! She prides herself in her ability to advise clients through challenging decisions and is driven to achieve their goals. Moreover, Megan’s interior design background has given her a well-honed aesthetic sensibility and a wonderful way of visualizing interior spaces – attributes that will bring enormous benefit to her clients, whether selling or buying.

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Megan has also lived in the city’s Lincoln Park and Bucktown neighborhoods. She is a passionate, knowledgeable Chicagoan and treasures all the local memories that she shares with her family, long time Chicagoland residents.
