Jeremy became a licensed real estate broker in 2016, after searching for a career that would allow him the flexibility he needed to care for his family while also pursuing his passion for helping others. He found that real estate was the perfect combination of interpersonal interaction, goal setting, customer service, negotiation and exploring Chicago—he hasn’t looked back since!
Jeremy has a knack for understanding people and cultivating lasting relationships, drawing from over 2 decades in the performing arts. As a professional actor in both film and theatre for over 20 years, Jeremy has nuanced insight into working towards a common goal with a team, and being on-call 24 hours a day. He brings this expertise with him to every client interaction, ensuring that their needs and wants are heard and their goals are met.
Jeremy loves helping his clients find their dream home or investment, expertly guiding his clients through the process. He advocates for his clients every step of the way, working diligently to provide them with a stress-free transaction. Jeremy has lived in the Chicagoland area for over 15 years, and uses his exclusive knowledge of the area to help his clients find their perfect property.
In his free time, Jeremy loves spending time with his family—as a parent of 2 amazing kids, he is now a Marvel Universe expert. Jeremy is a huge college basketball fan, and as a Purdue University grad it’s safe to say who his favorite team is (go Boilermakers!). Jeremy enjoys exploring everything that the city has to offer, from finding the best Mexican restaurant to the best outdoor patio. He cares deeply about animals, as the proud pet parent to 2 dogs and caretaker of a local colony of feral cats through the Tree House Humane Society.
Over the long period of time it took us to find just the right place, Jeremy was wonderful. He was patient during the search. During the closing period, his presence and counsel was indispensable in helping us to get exactly the terms we wanted. We just wanted to say what a great experience we had with our realtor, Jeremy Clark! He went beyond normal duties and was available for our questions and concerns, both day and night. We decided to put a bid on a house while he was on a family vacation and not only did he make himself available even on vacation - he was able to negotiate everything remotely and helped us go under contract in 2 days. He also helped sell our condo, which did not have in-unit laundry, in a tough market. We are very happy with his high level of customer service and making our stressful situation of buying and selling at the same time a smooth experience. Jeremy made the whole process of selling our condo just about as easy as it could possibly be for first-time sellers. From the beginning of the process through to closing, he was great about communicating to us what we should be working on and what we should be expecting next. We were able to follow the timeline that we set up at our first meeting just as planned. He listened to what we were wanting out of the experience and suggested a game plan that was smart, efficient, and realistic. Thanks to Jeremy, we had an offer that led to closing within the first week of listing and less than 24 hours from the first showing!
Stacy and I bought our new condo and moved in mid-February 2018. Throughout the entire process of seeking a home — looking at listings, visiting places we were interested in, putting in an offer, going through the back-and-forth of the offer, acceptance, inspection, closing, etc. — Jeremy was with us the whole way. He guided us through the complex MLS site, he showed us properties we were interested it, he fully explained complicated items on the offer; he stood with us and led us to our dream condo. Also, he reallywent above and beyond to pull together as many viewings as possible within our particular narrow window of time. When it came time for our busy afternoon of showings, he was as patient and as helpful as could possibly be asked for, all the while keeping track of the MANY little differences and details about each place. Throughout our work together, Jeremy was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. He was also very relatable and a pleasure to spend time with. Jeremy did a careful of assessment of what I was looking for in a rental property to ensure that my time spent on viewing properties was as efficient as possible. That is, knowing what I was looking for, he was careful not to show me rentals that were outside of the parameters of my needs.
