Dream Town opened a brand new location this month in Lincoln Square! It’s our fourth office and the most state-of-the-art yet. Some highlights include a front window touch-screen property listing display, green building features and a commercial-caliber barista station (cappuccino anyone?).
Around 200 people attended Dream Town’s Lincoln Square Grand Opening on Thursday night at 4553 N. Lincoln Avenue. Real estate agents from around the area came to celebrate our expansion and check out the new digs. The event was well-received by the realtor community, who got a first-look at our interactive touch-screen front window display that showcases Dream Town listings.
Managing Broker of the new Lincoln Square site is Barbara O’Connor of the O’Connor/Hebson Group. She is a long-standing member of the industry and is consistently ranked in the top 1% of the Chicago Association of Realtors. The Rizzo Group, another notable name in Chicago real estate, also works out of this office. Agents enjoy dual-monitor work stations and a convenient location to Chicago’s North Side neighborhoods.
The space was designed by architect Davor Engel of StudioDe and built out by Dream Town Builders, the brokerage’s home construction and remodeling division. With the opportunity to incorporate green features in its fourth site, Dream Town used energy-efficient measures and local suppliers whenever possible to reduce the office’s carbon footprint. For example, the front reception countertop is made from recycled bottles and the carpet tiles are made of re-manufactured materials.
Of course, at Dream Town we take our coffee very seriously (we’re the only brokerage in town with its own brand of premium roast coffee beans!). Despite having a Starbucks next door, we added a professional-grade Rancilio barista machine in the reception area. It’s the kind of espresso maker you’d find behind the counter at Caribou Coffee. Passersby are welcome to come in and enjoy a cappuccino anytime, made with our specialty Dream Town Blend beans.
