‘Minari’ Movie Night

Enjoy one of the last warm summer nights with a movie in Margate Park. Bring your picnic blanket and a pack of tissues for Minari. This award-winning hit follows a Korean-American family as they move to rural Arkansas to follow the American Dream.

Book It to Printers Row Lit Fest  

Head to Printers Row for five stages of panelists, authors, poets, and literary lovers during the largest outdoor literary showcase in the Midwest, Printers Row Lit Fest. Over 100,000 people come to check out this festival to pick up some old classics and new best-sellers, while listening to their favorite authors discuss their process. Don’t miss the special children’s programs!

All That Art at ‘All That Light’

All That Light is an art experience reflecting on ten years of the Artist-in-Residence program jointly hosted by the University of Chicago’s Arts + Public Life (APL) and the Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture (CSRPC). The exhibition closes this weekend and showcases work by some amazing Chicago artists from the past decade. Check out the performance showcase on Friday night, the curator tour on Sunday, or explore the exhibits on your own over the course of the weekend!

Take Some Time for Art at ‘The Correct Time’

Come see a broken clock be right twice a day at The Correct Time at the Design Museum of Chicago. This exhibit has over 700 different broken clocks displayed to start a conversation about the nature of time and how we experience it.

Stroll Through the Ravenswood ArtWalk

Celebrate the creative corridor of Chicago at the Ravenswood ArtWalk this weekend! This outdoor arts market celebrates our local artists with some amazing sales and demonstrations. You can also stop at the beer garden for a sip or one of the food trucks for a bite while live music serenades you. Don’t miss this creative and fun-filled fest!
