A New Show by a Comedy Storyteller

Jerrod Carmichael’s newest solo show is coming to Steppenwolf Theater for two nights only! Run for Hot Cocoa!

Chocolate lovers and runners will unite at the Hot Chocolate Run this weekend! Sign up to run 5k, 10k, or 15k with your whole family and enjoy some chocolate treats at the end of your race. If you aren’t a runner, you can cheer on your friends and neighbors downtown and support their charity of choice this year- St, Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

Shhh… It’s A Secret Show

Sofar Sounds is coming to West Town for another one of their iconic concerts. A ‘Wicked’ -ly Good Night Out

The classic modern musical Wicked is back in Chicago for a limited run. This story, based off characters from The Wizard of Oz, brings The Wizard, Glinda the Good Witch, and the Wicked Witch into sharp focus as you learn the backstory and history of Oz through incredible songs, beautiful dances, and a lot of jokes about being green. 100 Years of Writing About Justice

The American Writer’s Museum is showing the exhibit Dark Testament: A Century of Black Writers on Justice. This exhibit features deep dives into the writings of folks like Frederick Douglass, James Baldwin, Maya Angelou, and many more. Spend an afternoon at the museum looking at artifacts and reading about these amazing writers and their focus on justice.
