The Matchbook Artist
Inspired by his father-in-law’s extensive collection of vintage matchbooks, artist Roger Shule has spent much of his recent career creating unique paintings based on matchbook art from the mid-20th century. These acrylic-on-Masonite works are fashioned into 3-dimensional “matchbooks” measuring 10” x 13”.

North Shore Artist, Adam Siegel
Winnetka resident Adam Siegel is nationally renowned for his large-scale abstract works. Influenced by his travels and time spent in Japan, Siegel’s art bridges old and new and blends the sensibilities and aesthetics of East and West. His current show, “Adam Siegel: Works,” includes several new works.

A Little Night Music
Inspired by a celebrated 1955 Ingmar Bergman film, Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music is set in 1900 Sweden and explores the web of relationships centered around a glamorous stage actress and the men who love her. Full of wit, wisdom, possibilities and second chances, this musical celebration of love includes one of the composer’s most famous songs, “Send in the Clowns.”
