Take a Stroll on the Evanston Lakefront

Time to Go ‘Bach’ to Ravinia
Settle in for an evening with some of classical music’s most famous names: Mozart, Bach, Haydn, and Handel. Ravinia’s spectacular pavilion will showcase Music for the Royal Fireworks with Music of the Baroque. Conducted by Dame Jane Glover, you’ll find yourself being serenaded under the stars… what a way to spend an evening!

Find Your Luck at Irish Days
Downtown Long Grove is transforming into Ireland this weekend at Irish Days. This jam-packed 3-day festival is full of Irish dancers, crooners, and libations. Bring your dog to the Irish Dog competition or join the “Best Looking Men’s Legs in a Kilt” contest. You’ll be saying “Sláinte” all weekend!

Watch A Buddy Comedy Onstage
Head to Northlight Theatre in Skokie for their new production, The Garbologists, by Lindsay Joelle. This buddy comedy throws together two people who couldn’t be more different as they get to know each other on the back of their garbage truck. This funny and enchanting show will have you laughing and thinking all night long!

Highwood Transforms into Nashville with Nashwood!
No need to go to Tennessee when we’ve got Nashwood right here in Illinois! Highwood’s bars and restaurants are transforming into honkey-tonk good time joints, with cowboy hats and lots of country music! Try some of the Southern-fried goodness on special and put on your line-dancing boots for lots of live music or check out the Family Friendly line-up for ice cream and some smiles.
