Evanston’s First Saturday has so many art events packed into one day, we can’t even list them all out! You’ll just have to trust that there is literally something for every taste, every kind of expression, and every style of design. Get yourself to Evanston and go home with lots of art!

Go Under the Sea in Skokie

Grab your tridents and fishtails, Disney’s The Little Mermaid musical is coming to Skokie. This unique, immersive production makes you feel part of Ariel’s world from the moment you step into the theater.

76 Trombones Lead the Big Musical

Down the road in Skokie is another fish-out-of-water musical: Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man. This classic, big-band romp follows traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the unassuming people of River City into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that could never be real.
