About Jake
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Jake Kaminsky is a savvy professional who brings his wealth of experience and capabilities to his Dream Town clients. Upon earning his Bachelor’s Degree and Masters in Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jake began his career as a consultant and analyst in the Technology Industry—sharpening the many skills that now benefit his real estate clients. Conscientious and thorough, Jake is adept at analyzing and interpreting complex data for his clients, whether it’s a first-time home buyer concerned about long-term carrying costs or an experienced investor looking to add to their commercial portfolio. He is a creative problem-solver who can attend to the myriad details of a real estate transaction without losing sight of his client’s ultimate goals.
Beyond his impressive resume, Jake credits a college-era job for much of his present-day success. Working his way up from bartender to manager of 75 employees at a busy restaurant, he gained many of the strengths and values that define him today. He is a highly effective communicator and team-oriented leader who understands that his success is based upon guiding others to realize their own goals. With his long-time interest in real estate stemming from his relationship with his future mother-in-law Nicole Flores and his focus on helping others, Jake’s transition to real estate was a natural. Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, he expertly guides his clients through each step of their transaction—always ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the information and data they need to make informed decisions.
A strong believer in giving back, Jake shares his time and talents with the Danny Did Foundation, a Chicago-based organization that seeks to prevent deaths caused by seizures. In his spare time, Jake enjoys rooting for his hometown teams and discovering new places to grab a burger or beer. He has scouted out nearly every corner of the city and suburbs in search of the best and is happy to share his recommendations—which include Little Bad Wolf for burgers and Off Color Brewing and Ravinia Brewing for their locally-crafted beers.
