Exploring & Enhancing Self Care

Engage with more than 40 local providers at the 2nd Annual Wellness Resource Fair. Take advantage of healthy activities including gentle yoga, family Zumba and art therapy. There will also be blood pressure and glucose screenings, along with workshops on bike safety and mental health self-care for parents, caregivers and individuals.

A Different Kind of Antique Show

There are hundreds of antique dealers, but you won’t find much furniture, glassware or dishes. Rather, the Chicagoland Antique Advertising, Slot-Machine & Jukebox Show is as its name implies! It’s a great place to shop for harder-to-find antiques, including neon signs, gumball machines, barber poles, penny arcade machines, carnival memorabilia, and more.

Calling All Young Botanists 

On weekends, budding young botanists can meet with Nature Educators at the Garfield Park Conservatory for enriching activities that encourage scientific exploration and a deeper understanding of plants. Kids of all ages (and curious adults, too!)  can stop by the front desk to learn the location of the Budding Botanists Station.

African American Art 

This is the last weekend for this exhibit! The Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition features paintings, drawings, fine art prints, sculpture, mixed-media, ceramics and photography by African American artists from across the country, including emerging youth artists.

Yoga & Cocktails 

Join Chicago’s own KOVAL Distillery and The Collective Yoga Co-op for an accessible and energizing class! Founded in 2008, KOVAL was the first distillery to open in the city since the mid-1800’s.
