5 Things to Do in Chicago This Weekend
There’s no shortage of Halloween fun this weekend in Chicago, but don’t worry because not all of it is going to scare your pants off. For you fright fanatics there’s the Little Goat Haunted house complete with drinks and snacks. If you like to cover up your fear with laughter then there’s no better place to be than Death Toll, a Halloween-themed sketch comedy show. For those looking to experience some of the mystics of Halloween, come and lift the veil with Sidney Friedman as he performs telepathic wonders. Of course if you go for that rushing adrenaline fueled fear, go and see Nick Wallenda “King of the Highwire” tightrope walk between buildings. If you’ve already had enough Halloween, however, go and enjoy some of the best films for kids and teens at the Chicago International Children’s Film festival.

The 31st annual Chicago International Children’s Film Festival is featuring 250 of the best, new cinema for children and teens from 40 countries. In addition to films, the festival features filmmaking workshops with Q&A’s from filmmakers and celebrities.
