The 2017 Senior Dance Concert showcases a variety of pieces rooted in the most viscerally pleasing aspects of dance, refined by the education and knowledge received over the past four years. Including works both narrative and abstract in their nature, the show honestly reflects the uniqueness and diversity of the women at its helm.

The 8th annual Mole de Mayo festival in Chicago’s historic Pilsen pits local chefs and restaurants against one another in preparing the delicious Mexican staple, mole. The outdoor festival will also feature a Mercado of the city’s finest food vendors and local Pilsen crafters, musicians, and a luchador exhibition match!

“House” music is deeply rooted in the city of Chicago, with many considering the city to be the genre’s birthplace. Millennium Park hosts a showcase of local Chicago talents at the Chicago House Party. The event will feature a variety of music acts, from live performances and features to DJ sets.

Celebrate the spirit of Dionysus when Greektown Mediterranean Wine Fest makes its alluring debut this spring! The nation celebrates Memorial Day this Monday, and in Chicago the whole weekend is an occasion to mark the holiday. The City of Chicago’s Memorial Day Parade honors all men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country, while also kicking off the summer festival season.
