Sergei Prokofiev’s expressive Soviet-era work for orchestra, chorus, and soloists is performed as an oratorio soundtrack for Sergei Eisenstein’s film Ivan The Terrible. The performance, conducted by Riccardo Muti, features renowned actors Gérard Depardieu as Ivan and Yasen Peyankov as the narrator, as well as Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke and internationally acclaimed bass Mikhail Petrenko, as soloists.

This special edition of After Dark features the exhibition Hélio Oiticica: To Organize Delirium, a deep dive into 1960s Brazil with a performance from legendary psychedelic pop group Os Mutantes. Your ticket includes access to the insider’s talk and late-night experience with special guest performances. Attendees must be 21+, and valid ID is required upon entry.

Chicago Vintage Clothing and Jewelry is the first all vintage jewelry and clothing fashion event in Chicago. CVCJ will encompass all things vintage by gathering selected group of exhibitors from Chicago, the Midwest and beyond to display and sell the best in vintage apparel, estate jewelry, vintage designer clothes, 1950’s dresses, vintage costume jewelry and handbags.

Chicago Flamenco Festival is a multi-week festival celebrating flamenco music and dance. Thrill at an impressive line-up of flamenco’s brightest young stars and critically acclaimed artists, including the U.S. premiere performance of Anabel Veloso’s “Secreto A Voces.” The 15th Chicago Flamenco Festival will also feature Flamenco brunches, symposiums, adults and kids dance and guitar workshops and family programs.

Now in its third year, Frost Fest boasts Lakeview’s largest craft beer festival, featuring 41 local brewers serving their most famous craft beers in a 5,000 square foot heated tent! Attendees can sample up to 15 beers at one of two tasting sessions, then dance the afternoon away with live music!
