The Chicago International Children’s Film Festival is the largest annual festival of films for children ages 2-18 in the world, and the first Oscar-qualifying children’s film festival in the country, programming 250 films from 40 countries and showcasing the best in culturally diverse, value-affirming new cinema for children. Over two dozen prizes will be awarded from Adult, Children, and Youth Juries, as well as special prizes.

Dress in your spookiest attire and join 3,000 ghoulish party-goers for Chicago’s most epic Halloween event. Stroll through Andersonville and try some of the desserts they have to offer–from pumpkin cheesecake to s’mores pizza, there’s something for everyone. Choose between two routes: Candy Corn or Caramel Apple, each with 11 restaurants per route.

Come celebrate Dia de los Muertos with the Academy of Mexican Dance & Music (AMDM), the region’s premier Mexican Folkloric performing ensemble. In addition to the performance, the event will feature delicious Mexican food and drink available for purchase, free interactive arts stations where families can create ofrendas, and a costume parade.
