Sarah Langum was introduced to real estate in her early years, gaining experience in the field by exploring open houses and shadowing a Realtor during high school. She began her professional career in the industry in 2009, with a position in marketing for a mortgage brokerage. After accumulating 14 years of experience in high-level customer service, while learning the ins and outs of the financial aspects of real estate transactions, she felt she had cultivated the right combination of skills to become an exceptional Realtor. Sarah’s dedication to quality and service is inspired by her passion for helping others and her focus on first time homebuyers. Whether she is representing a homebuyer or seller in Chicago or the suburbs, her goal is to build relationships with her clients based on integrity and trust, keeping her clients well informed and educated from start to finish—allowing them to have a positive, worry-free experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Sarah has quickly built her business primarily on referrals by staying ahead of potential challenges for her clients, providing them with both value and a first-rate experience. She tailors her approach to each individual transaction, using systems and resources that minimize hassles and help her clients make the most informed decision possible. Sarah is committed to increasing her expertise in the industry and marketplace through both education and networking, having earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative Certification and enrolling in the GRI program at the Realtor Institute, in addition to her active professional affiliations with the CAR Professional Development Advisory Work Group and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
As part of a daily initiative to give back to a city that has provided her with so much, Sarah dedicates herself to community development and empowerment by volunteering with outreach at her local church, and as the co-chair of membership for the YWCA Future Leaders Council. Beyond her work in real estate, Sarah enjoys exploring different food and events around Chicago, exercise, cooking and spending time, preferably outdoors, with family, close friends, and her Pomeranian, Ringo.
