Nicholas grew up in a western suburb of Chicago with a view of the incredible Chicago skyline. Some of his earliest memories include renovations of the stately old La Grange Dutch Colonial that his parents still call home. Despite years of travel, Nick has never been able to tear himself away from the Windy City. He and his wife currently reside in Bucktown and plan to raise a family of their own in Chicago.
Since graduating from the University of Iowa, Nicholas's career path was always leading him to real estate. A background in editing, illustration, sales, marketing, and art instruction has honed his attention to detail, enabled him to see things from another's perspective, and taught him the importance of staying in touch. Nick's love of real estate started with his first home-hunting experience. He recalls, "I fell in love with that feeling you get when you know you've found the perfect home - and just like that, I wanted to know everything there is to know about the whole process." Now he makes sure that his clients and he (as their representative) feel that same sense of exhilaration by finding their perfect home.
When Nicholas is not introducing people to their new homes or enjoying the company of his large Irish family, he enjoys scuba diving, brewing beer, teaching art classes, and horseback riding (Western, never English!).
