Born in Oak Park, Nancy spent her teenage years in Glen Ellyn finally settling in Chicago after college. A graduate of University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Nancy still regrets the loss of the "Chief." She continues to support the university as an amazing educational experience. She now lives in Lincoln Square with her husband and three cats. Her grown sons have followed different career paths. Her oldest is a glass blower in Huntington Beach, California and her other two sons are finishing up Masters Degrees' in elementary education and industrial technology. In her spare time Nancy likes to golf although she never keeps score, collects cookbooks, and is an ardent reader of fiction.
Nancy also owns, operates and is a designer for Eco Uneeco, a homegrown company that makes wearable art from recycled and repurposed materials.
