Mirna was born and raised in Chicago and has been in real estate for 20 years, starting her career in Bucktown in 1988. When she purchased her family's first home, she developed a strong interest in the real estate process and its many possibilities. Mirna has a broad background in sales management, office management, agent coaching and extensive real estate sales. She has worked with existing residences, sales and purchases, new construction, developers, and condo conversions.
Mirna joined Dream Town Realty wanting to expand her client base. She knows the entire City, but especially enjoys working in Logan Square, Humboldt Park(lived there as a child), Avondale, Ravenswood, and Rogers Park. She was involved with a lot of developments in those neighborhoods, and loves experiencing the many different backgrounds and ethnicities she encounters there.
Mirna believes in building very strong relationships with her clientele, which has earned her lots of friends and brought her lots of enthusiastic referrals. Mirna especially enjoys working with her first-time buyers, because the process is so new and exciting to them. She is completely bilingual, being fluent in English and Spanish, and prefers to listen carefully to her clients, rather than talk. She works hard to cater to the needs of her clientele and customers, and they can count on her doing her best to help them find that perfect home.
Mirna has always loved the listing aspect of the profession. She likes to build realistic expectations for her sellers. Timing and pricing have a lot to do with marketability and Mirna's ability to market their property. Mirna states, "My real estate career is my livelihood so I put a lot of passion and professionalism behind my work and my clientele. It's one of the biggest decision/investments one makes in their lifetime, and I'm very sensitive to that."
In her off time, Mirna loves spending time on the beach, walking, and riding her bike. Her speciality is cooking authentic Puerto Rican cuisine for her family. She has a chocolate lab that's really hyper, and 4 awesome grandchildren she loves spending time with.
