It was very difficult to only choose Mary's top three attributes in this recommendation form because she finds so many ways to bring value in the way that she does her work. She knows what she is doing and is a great advocate. Other real estate agents that we interacted with through the process commented that she was really good and really knew her stuff. The breadth of her expertise is impressive. She was so comprehensive in her approach. She expertly guided me to figure out what I wanted regarding aspects of my home search that I wasn't even attentive to at the outset but ended up being some of the aspects that I value to most. Mary Soeding will be my realtor for as long as I'm buying and/or selling a home. She was fantastic! She found applicable properties for my consideration and worked with me in a timely manner to find those within my criteria. When she presented my home through various showings and open houses, she put on music, lit candles, tidied up and even vacuumed! Mary worked exhaustively to meet our expectations by showing us unlimited properties, pre-screening the real estate listings to our exacting standards and by always being available to help problem solve. Mary's collaborative style helped bring together all parties during final real estate transaction negotiations - but as her client she always represented and deferred to me. Mary has helped me personally in my search for the best home for my wife and new daughter- as a residential real estate agent. But she has primarily worked with our company to locate, purchase and renovate single family homes for use as group living facilities for people with disabilities. Her work is excellent! We were newlyweds relocating to the western suburbs when we hired Mary Soeding to list and sell our condo in the Uptown neighborhood. Unfortunately we picked a tough time to sell our condo, when the housing market was taking a turn for the worse. However, even in a tough market, Mary did an amazing of job of marketing and ultimately selling our home. She kept us apprised of the shifts in the market and recent home listings and sales in the neighborhood. While we had already made our move out west, Mary even went above and beyond by assisting us with several issues with our condo when we were unable to make the trip into the city ourselves. We have been so happy with the service and the level of professionalism that Mary provides and we recommend Mary highly for anyone looking to sell in the future!
