Liam is a native of Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. The ninth of eleven children, Liam immigrated to Chicago in 1985 at the age of nineteen. He was a standout Irish football and soccer player in Killarney, having played on the Kerry minor football team and the Kerry U18 soccer team. He initially came to Chicago for the summer to play Irish football, but his love of the sun (something rarely seen in Ireland) helped him decide Chicago was the place for him.
Liam worked as a carpenter for a number of years until he and a friend started their own carpentry company. He built his first home in 1996 and two years later started his own building company. In the last fifteen years he has built over eighty homes. In 2007, he was elected president of the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association with a membership of over 600 builders and associates. The home he is most proud of is the Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) he was asked to build for his favorite charity.
Having been involved in over 150 different closings, Liam brings a broad knowledge of both construction and real estate to the home buying and selling process. He now works full time for Dream Town and is excited to bring his knowledge and enthusiasm to his clients. Having worked with over eighty different clients as a home builder, Liam expects to put his unique experience to work to make sure all his clients have a successful real estate transaction.
Liam is married to Ann Connolly, a native of Mt. Greenwood on Chicago's southwest side. Liam and Ann have two boys, Rory and Cathal. Liam's passion was Irish football but now golf is the sport (yes sport), he most enjoys. In addition to sports he also loves to travel and tell jokes, but his favorite way to relax is to watch his two boys play sports. Cathal is an avid soccer player and Rory loves skateboarding.
