Kara Finnegan

Kara’s passion for real estate was ignited by rehabbing and managing several properties of her own throughout the city. As a fourth generation Chicagoan, she has a thorough knowledge of the city and its neighborhoods. Kara's familiarity with Chicago's culture, layout and, especially, her extensive knowledge of the real estate market will make your buying or selling experience easy and enjoyable.

Kara's focus is on building strong relationships with her clients. She believes that her most important duty is to ensure that each of her clients has found his/her perfect home. Her strong work ethic and dedication to client needs means that you will never feel pressured to “settle” for second best nor feel that you are not receiving a candid overview of all of your options.

Kara's background includes a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a M.A. in Educational Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago. She worked in the online education and child development fields before pursuing her passion of real estate full time as a residential specialist at Dream Town.

  My experience with Dream Town went above and beyond what I expected by far. Kara was the best real estate agent I ever dreamed of dealing with. Having our first property fall through before the closing, my wife and I needed to find a condominium in less than 3 weeks. Kara worked night and day for us as if she were a close friend. I got off of work at 5pm and would not view any properties until 6pm every evening. Kara showed us at least 3 to 4 places a night for 2 ½ weeks until we found the right one.
