Buying and selling a home is stressful. Buying and selling twice in under a year in one of the most competitive real estate markets in recent history - beyond stressful. Jen was an amazing partner in the whole process bringing her expertise, point of view, kindness, and empathy to every step of the process. Jen knows her stuff and empowers you to be the best buyer and seller you can be. Because of Jen, I am moving into a beautiful home that I love (beating all other offers) and my current place sold in under 72 hours. Jen made it all work seamlessly and easily, Working with Jen is such a fantastic experience and I highly recommend working with her for your next sale/purchase.

My husband and I met Jen via mutual friends, and I'm happy to say I now consider Jen a friend. She sat down with us to understand exactly what we were looking for in a home, price ranges, location, etc.. She was never pushy, gave us her honest opinions on houses we toured, and was always available via phone/email/text for any questions we had. Sorry if this is a bit long, but Jen deserves all the praise we can give. Jen helped us buy our first home and we couldn't have asked for a better partner in that search. When we initially reached out to her, she was immediately responsive and although our plans to buy were many months in the future, she stayed in touch and met with us to go over all the things we needed to consider at every step of the way. When we had reached the point of actually searching, she kept us apprised of the considerations she had already mentioned to us. Once we had found the "one" she was on top of all the questions and negotiations with the seller. In addition to that, we had the pleasure of closing on our first home during the stay-at-home order in Chicago, and while she couldn't be there physically with us, she was texting and calling throughout the day to make sure everything went smoothly. Not only is her demeanor incredibly professional, but she also made us feel comfortable around her which allowed us to be open and ask as many questions as we needed. Being first time home buyers, we sure had a lot! There is no better person, in my opinion, to be a partner in your search for your next home.

Jen is simply the best. Not only was she referred to us by some friends, but she still keeps in touch with us. She treats us like friends and cares about how we are doing even a year after we bought our home. She took us to a ton of open houses and showing before we found the house of our dreams. We are in love with our house and the process for this house was smooth and easy. When we eventually sell this house and move to a larger house, we will go with no one else. We worked with Jen through the sale of our condo and purchase of a new home and she made the very stressful experience an easy and enjoyable one! Jen is an amazing realtor! When looking for our first home, we had some specific characteristics we really wanted. Jen went above and beyond to find us EXACTLY what we wanted. Throughout the searching process, Jen was constantly available and willing to meet us at any time to go for a showing or answer questions. She was a wealth of knowledge. During the buying process, she connected us with so many of her contacts to make the process smooth and easy. After we bought, Jen helped us find contractors to renovate our bathrooms. We highly recommend Jen! She inherited our listing after it had been sitting on the market for several frustrating months and as soon as she took over our realtor experience improved 100%. The difference was night and day. She had a lot of great suggestions for getting our place to look great both online and in person and was available any time to meet painters, stagers, etc. to make it happen. She even brought several items from her own home! Jen was available any time via text, call, or email and always proactively set us up with a backup realtor if she knew she would be busy. Jen listened to our needs and was super flexible in seeing many, many homes in various parts of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. She helped us submit multiple offers at various homes and when all was said and done we were able to find the perfect house that appraised for more than the purchase price! Additionally, Jen worked with our buyers and their agent to ensure the deal on our condo closed quickly and helped us set up a rent back option as the buyers allowed us more time to move out. I am so incredibly bummed that I'm moving out of Chicago and wont get a chance to use Jen's services again. Our story was that we had a very specific timeline and very urgent need to close quickly as well as a desire to not have to stress myself out to tears every day. (Listen, moving 600 miles with a 12 week old is hard enough, having an agent fall over herself to make things easier for you is a rare and wonderful thing.) Jen listened to everything we said, didn't bulldoze us with outrageous demands, and rolled with all the punches (including negotiating offers while I was overseas with laryngitis). I need to stop using parenthesis and just tell you if you're looking for a realtor with a great personality, down-to-earth, incredibly easy to work with as well as knowledgeable then Jen is for you.

Jen is an amazing realtor. She helped us sell our house, and purchase a new one and in both capacities, she went above and beyond. From the selling perspective, she listened to concerns, brought me back to Earth and has a serious eye for staging-- ultimately getting us the most in the sale of our house. On the buying side, she was tireless when it came to research, negotiating and making sure the house was in tip top shape for our move in. Our process moved very quickly beginning to end and while it could have felt a bit like whiplash-- listing a house, selling it in LESS THAN A WEEK and finding the perfect house for our family-- but at every turn Jen was confident, honest wise and supportive. I give Jen Schreiber my highest possible recommendation. I have moved four times in the past five years, and she is the most professional, proactive, knowledgeable agent I've ever worked with. Initially, she asked me extensive questions to make sure I was getting the correct property. During this conversation, she illuminated things I didn't even know I needed or wanted in a place. She is very thorough and seemed to really care about me ultimately being happy in my home. I have worked with many agents over the years, but Jen's diligence distinguished her immediately. Jen recently sold my condo for me in Ukrainian Village and the experience was amazing.
