As a 20 year resident of Chicago, Jeff has lived in a variety of homes in diverse neighborhoods. Jeff has personally experienced the unique attributes of everything from vintage walk ups to penthouse lofts, and modern new construction to gut rehabbed investment properties. His varied life experiences parallel his well rounded professional life.

Following his graduation from the University of Cincinnati, Jeff enjoyed much success in national advertising sales for well known magazines such as Men's Fitness, Shape, Sierra and USA Weekend. He negotiated major advertising contracts with blue chip advertisers, earning sales awards and recognition along the way.

In 2007, Jeff wanted to combine his sales/negotiating experience with his passion for real estate. His clients have benefitted ever since. We were trying to get in under the wire of the first-time home-buyers credit, while also trying to plan and pay for our wedding and honeymoon so at first I worried we were trying to take on too much. We ended finding our dream home and with Jeff's expert advice and guidance, we had a signed contract in place a month before the wedding with a closing date two weeks after the honeymoon.     My initial e-mail to Dream Town reality regarding our interest in property in Chicago with very specific requirements, namely, large dog friendly condo/townhouse on the first floor (our older golden has trouble with stairs ) in a very nice neighborhood, close to restaurants, shopping and close to lake. Our goals were met by Jeff Hopkins in a sincere, yet serious manner. Jeff listened very carefully to each and every requirement. We were looking for a 2 bed/2 bath condo at a great price with (preferably) a backyard area for our doggies, and lastly a dog friendly building. Each and every criteria was met by Jeff and, in fact, he exceeded our expectations with his negotiation skills, prompt action from the initial offer to close in a record time of 13 days.
