Chalk It Up to Community
Join your friends and neighbors for this community art event. Pick up your chalk box and add your own original work to the sidewalks around the Art Center. There will also be food and live music! You can participate from home by purchasing your official Art Center Chalk Box and sharing your sidewalk creation online.

Grease Is the Word
Herald the end of the school year with this Grease movie-themed carnival in Highwood. Graduates of all ages from the Class of 2022 can celebrate their accomplishments with discounted unlimited-ride wristbands. Grease-themed attire is encouraged for all!

Join the Music Makers
One of the North Shore’s premier classical music events returns to Village Church in Northbrook. With a lineup of outstanding musicians, this year’s North Shore Chamber Music Festival will feature works by Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Chopin, Barber, and other composers—both world-renowned and lesser-known.

Equal parts fun and education, this unique morning workshop begins with a review of botanical terms, plant parts and families and an introduction to plant identification. Then join staff from the Emily Oaks Nature Center to test your new plant-based skills along the Center’s nature trails.

Have a Dairy Good Time!
4H and Future Farmers of America participants will be showing their steers, lambs, hogs and dairy cows—and competing for that coveted blue ribbon! Plus, there’ll be food vendors, wagon rides and dairy-themed activities including cheese-making demos, butter churning, and ice-cream making.
