Craft a Gift Only a Mother Could Love

Make sure you don’t show up to Mother’s Day empty handed. Join your friends at Devonshire Cultural Center for a morning of flower wreath making. Craft together felt, string, paper, pom-poms and more for a beautiful Mother’s Day gift. Bags and tissue paper will be provided to hide the decoration from Mom until her special day.

Take a Hike… in Your Own Backyard!

Meet other hikers and explore the best local trails. This hour-long hike takes place at a different natural area each week, always within a 30-minute drive. This week’s hike is led by Emily Oaks Nature Center staff at River Trails Forest Preserve. Socialize, exercise, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Hell is Empty, and All the Devils Are at the Mudlark Theater!

A mysterious shipwreck leaves two monarchs stranded on a remote island, in William Shakespeare’s indominable The Tempest. Mudlark Theater continues its mission to give children and students a proper voice on stage. A theater for young artists like you’ve never seen, producing a production of Shakespeare like you’ve never known.
