Zora and I recently worked with Jennifer South in selling Zora's condo and purchasing a new one about four blocks away in the Gold Coast area.
Zora's an attorney and a tough customer to satisfy in general. Both of us were very impressed with Jennifer's ability to quickly establish her credibility and competence. She did her homework and was well informed of current market conditions in both the selling and purchasing neighborhoods. She maximized the selling price and negotiated special items to extend the closing date, allowing us to move into our new place and avoid the cost and hassle of temporary housing.
Working with us on finding the new unit was equally challenging. Jennifer is an attentive listener which significantly improved the efficiency of the listing review process. She sorted through a mountain of housing inventory and identified several jewels in our price range. The offer and contract process was an anxious moment. We all have heard (and some maybe even experienced) the horror stories of the stereotypical real estate agent. Well, picture the worst of the worst ... and Rich Betzing is the EXACT opposite. Not only did Rich work harder than even I did to find me the condo that I am so incredibly happy with and grateful for today, but he did so with an unmatched patience. After spending hours of his own research narrowing down the condos that he knew I would be interested in, I am probably underestimating that we saw 47 different condos, and every one fit my exact prerequisites. Not once did Rich waste my time showing me a place that I wouldn't like or only show me places on the high side of my willingness to spend. He spent my time and money as if they were his own, and with a professionalism, courtesy, and patience in a different league than the other 5 agents I've worked with on other purchases and sales. Not only would I recommend Rich to anyone in the Chicago area, but I'd say that you are doing yourself a disservice if you choose to work with someone else. I put Rich up against the best in the business and, at the end of the day, also consider him a friend.

We were very glad that we had Daniel Bahena from Dream Town as our agent. We would use the word "terrific" to describe your work on our behalf except for one thing: That wouldn't come close to describing your efforts. We had a lot riding on getting a sale done quickly and at a top price. And you did indeed perform wonderfully well. Because of your hard work and creative thinking, we were able to sell our house in two months in the worst real estate market in anybody's memory. Not only that, but we were able to get, by a significant margin, the highest price ever for our street in Old Town.
That scenario wouldn't have unfolded without your complete dedication to us as your client. When I decided to sell my condominium home of 17 years I wanted to use a friend who knew how much I loved it.

Ting has made a dream come true for me!!! I had always dreamed of owning an apartment building; of being a landlord. Without really knowing where to start, I went on the internet where I found Dream Town and Ting Sutana. It turns out this was no easy job, but that didn't stop Ting. Throughout the year and half that we worked together on what seemed to be an endless search for the right property, we had our ups and downs, in fact at times I didn't think it would ever happen, but Ting hung in there with me to the end, through all the stress and difficulties with appraisals, earnest money, bad mortgage brokers, lawyers, etc. Her knowledge and expertise was invaluable.
