My dog, Honey, and I moved to Chicago from St. Louis, MO. I fortunately found Mark on the Dreamtown website. He was such a big help to me. I had to fly in on a few occasions to look at properties and Mark always had the showings lined up allowing me to see what I wanted in the least amount of time possible.
Since I moved from out of state, Mark dealt with the small issues for me that must be done for a move that I couldn't handle long distance. For example, he worked with the alderman's office for moving truck parking permits, and he really looked out for us in all aspects. I was ready to pay full price for my home, but Mark negotiated a lower selling price, even though that meant a lower commission for him. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark if you want an agent who has your best interests in mind.

I am writing to you regarding my experience with Misha Immormino, our Realtor for the simultaneous sale of our condo and purchase of our home this fall/winter.
My husband and I had an excellent relationship with Mrs. Immormino and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a real estate transaction. She was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in every step of the process. She came prepared to our interviews for a Realtor and spent an hour with us showing us examples of how she would market our home and how she would assist us in our search for a new place. We interviewed five agents from various firms, including those who worked at boutique agencies to the big name real estate companies. We also spoke to agents who had many years of experience.
Mrs. Immormino was upfront with the fact she has only been in this job less than a year. While that initially was a concern for us, she answered every question we asked of her with intelligence and passion. What also impressed us was her willingness to do research and ask questions if she did not know the answer immediately. Unlike two of the more-experienced agents we interviewed who tried to steer us from the housing regions we sought, Mrs. Immormino did no such thing and helped us find several locations in our price range.
We looked at several homes before we found the one we wanted and she offered several examples of how to proceed in the bidding process.
The purchase of our home went smoothly up until the final walk-through, when the previous home owners left the home in a disheveled state. The agent of the homeowners tried to ignore our calls, but Mrs. Immormino was assertive up to and through the closing. She held the previous owners agent to a monetary concession before we would sign the papers. Mrs. Immormino even answered questions from us after the closing, when she had no obligation to do so.
Regarding the sale of our condo, she was aggressive in marketing the place and was helpful in helping us get the condo in order and coming up with a price. We had a strong interest in our unit, nearly daily showings until a final offer. The only misstep she might have had was not doing an open house soon after the listing, but considering that we had an offer (which eventually fell through) by the first showing, it was understandable. The sale of our unit went fast - within two weeks - despite the fact it was listed in late October, traditionally a slow time for home sales.
We were fortunate to get into a bidding war for our condo and Mrs. Immormino was able to guide us through our options, offering suggestions of how to handle this windfall.
On the Dreamtown website, Mrs. Immormino's biography discusses her passion for service and this is no understatement. Even before we signed on with Dreamtown, she answered emails promptly and at anytime of the day. Whenever there were developments in the home sale/search, Mrs. Immormino called/emailed/faxed as soon as she could. Additionally, she quickly returned phone calls. I never had to wait long for a returned message. Other agents we contacted were less assertive in their initial business dealings, and Mrs. Immormino's emphasis on service was a big factor in our decision to sign with Dreamtown.
Overall, we had an exceptionally talented agent in Mrs. Immormino and Dreamtown is fortunate to have such a dedicated worker. I am sure she will continue to impress future clients and be an excellent representative for Dreamtown.

Misha Immormino served as my agent for the purchase of a condo in Chicago. I wanted to write a quick note to let you know my thoughts about the experience.
In short, Misha (and as a result, Dream Town) was great. Though completely professional throughout, after the first week of looking at properties, it was like going to look at them with a friend. Misha never pressured me to look at properties that I didn't show interest in. She never pressured me to make an offer. But she made sure to tell me what she liked and didn't like about places, often helping me think of things that maybe I wouldn't have. As I mentioned earlier, after the first week or so, we were on the same page and we could both tell whether or not I liked the place (or if she did). Misha was great to work with and reflects very well upon Dream Town. I will recommend her to any friend of mine that is in the market for a real estate agent in the future. And, as she was nice enough to come to a holiday/house warming party I threw recently, let me also let you know that she makes great jalapeno poppers.

The difference between Jill Hare and other real estate agents is the difference between looking and finding. Two days after we started searching for our condominium we found the perfect place. Jill has a keen ability to sum up likes and dislikes, cut to the chase and get there. Plus, her affable personality makes getting there fun. I contacted Mark Miles to sell my 'first' condo and to assist me with purchasing a single family home in Lakeview. The purchase went very smoothly and I am glad I chose a Realtor to assist me in the process. Mark worked tirelessly to negotiate the best possible price that he could, and his expertise of the transaction helped us get other things included in the deal that we wouldn't have even asked for. He then was able to provide me with a list of accomplished real estate attorneys and professional home inspectors. He even provided me a list of his preferred lenders, one of which provided me a substantial savings over a family friend. He clearly was looking out for my best interests throughout the process.
The sale of my condo was a bigger challenge with the market slowing back to normal marketing times, however Mark used all of the marketing opportunities that he could to bring attention to my condo, especially the exposure on the Dream Town website. While my condo wasn't updated to today's standards, he was still able to save me the time (and most of the expense) of updating the condo. Through the use of his extensive list of vendors, I was able to find a very good granite company that gave me a great deal and I was able to pass that great deal long to the buyer of my condo. Everyone was happy! I will DEFINITELY use Mark and Dream Town again in the future and refer anyone I know buying or selling to him. Thanks Mark, your work on the buy and sell was tremendous!

Just want to tell you from a Mom's perspective, you were great during our search for a condo. Seeing your daughter leave the "nest" is not an easy thing no matter what age. As you might have noticed we are a very close family. Just want to say "thanks" for making Ken and I feel like we were just as important as Carolyn. I know I was a handful. City life kind of scares me, but you sure put me at ease. The building she chose is perfect and her place is darling. It looks soooo different. No more orange walls!!!! Let me tell you, that I will recommend you to any "Mom" out there shadowing her daughter. I am sure Carolyn has great words for you too!! But as usual, just thought I would butt in!!!! I have heard so many horror stories about realtors who did not follow through, were not aggressive enough, and most importantly, were bad advisors. I could not have been more pleased with Dave Plotkin and my experience buying my first place. Whenever we would look at a unit, I would immediately start decorating in my mind, imagining what color I would paint the walls, how I would arrange the furniture, and where my art would go. Dave was always my voice of reason. He pointed out imperfections in places I would never have thought to look. Whether it was a patch in the ceiling that presumed to be a large problem in the future, beams on a porch that were unsafe, water damage on the outside of the building, or assessments that were way overpriced, I could always count on him to give me his honest opinion. Dave also has experience as a rehabber and was always able to give me a financial estimate on what it would take to make the proper changes to a place which is a field I have no experience in. I changed my criteria for what I was looking for more than once and Dave was always sending me updated properties all day long. Amy made the transition from selling our first condo to buying a bigger one a very smooth and stress-free event. She made everything very easy for us. I am writing to express my great satisfaction with the services provided by my real estate agent Beverly Bahm. I am a first-time home buyer and Beverly took the time to walk me through every step of searching for and buying a home. She always answered questions honestly and thoroughly and with patience. For example, when I was having some doubts about the timing of the purchase the night I put down the first of the earnest money, she sat down at 10:30 p.m. and helped me do half an hour of calculations and estimates, never pushing one view and letting me know I could change my mind at any time. Throughout the process, I always felt if I backed out, right up until signing the closing documents, Beverly would support me without blinking an eye, and that, interestingly, made me much more confident in my decision to go ahead with the purchase. The condo we found fit every single criteria I had given Beverly. In the end, I didn't have to give up anything-size, location, parking, decks and other amenities, even a lake view from the rooftop deck. I am also confident that I paid a fair price for the property. A friend of mine warned me not to put too must trust in a real estate agent; no matter how it appears, they are not really your friend, he said. But I found Beverly to be a well-informed, congenial agent who always looked out for my interests, who guided me gently through the process and always gave sound advice. I typically spoke of "we" when describing my purchase process to friends because, despite being a family of one buying a condo, I always felt that Beverly was my partner in this endeavor. My husband and I just purchased our first condo with the help or Beverly Bahm from Dream Town Realtors. Beverly was extremely knowledgeable and helpful through every step. Since this was our first experience buying a home, we loved that Beverly knew just what to ask and just what to look for so that my husband and I could just kind of go along for the ride. This was all at our own pace; we never felt pressured to look at anything we weren't interested in.
Beverly referred us to various other people we would need such as lawyers, inspectors and mortgage brokers who also helped us along the way. Beverly was there through every step, even though she didn't need to be. We had a few bumps in the purchasing road due to the lack of professionalism on the developer's side, but through everything Beverly helped us and made us confident that everything would be fixed. She went above and beyond, and for that we are thankful. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor.
