I met Michelle via the Dream Town website. I was looking for a live-work loft space -- someplace unique and different, that would offer me the opportunity to use my skills as a designer and artist to create a space that was truly my OWN -- not a cookie cutter condo. I picked out two listings that I wanted to see and we talked a bunch about EXACTLY what I wanted. In addition to the two I picked out, Michelle said that she had another property in mind to show me. We went to see the properties and the one she picked out was IT. It was an amazing 2600 sq ft raw warehouse/loft space -- with parking and roof rights! From beginning to end, Michelle was there -- assisting me in successfully negotiating a deal, helping my lawyer and me with attorney review, and generally guiding the transaction. I love the space -- it is original and perfect! And I am so glad I found it! Michelle is the best real estate agent EVER!

We worked with Megan for several months in 2007 to purchase a home near Jasons new job in southern Chicago while we were living in Nashville, TN. Eventually, with Megans help, we found exactly what we were looking for in Evergreen Park. In April, after talking to a few different agents, we were quickly convinced that we wanted to work with Megan. Even while we were still in Nashville and only able to look at houses online, Megans obvious willingness to help was entirely evident to us; she was always very prompt and informative in her communication with us. When we traveled to Chicago for 10 days to find our home-to-be, Megans input was invaluable. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to truly listen to her clients. As she became more familiar with our own tastes, preferences, and priorities, she tailored the list of homes we were to visit during our limited time, a process aided by her extensive knowledge of the market and neighborhoods. Megan was also attentive to issues we might not have realized without her guidance, such as neighboring properties or the amount of closet space in a home.
After we found the house we wanted to purchase (she probably knew by our reactions to seeing the home that we wanted to buy even before we had settled on that decision!), Megan worked with us and the selling agent to negotiate and draw up an appropriate sales contract. This turned out to be more difficult that any of us had anticipated, in part because we had to be back in Nashville during part of the process. Although the selling agent often seemed discourteous and unwilling to negotiate reasonably, Megans impeccable professionalism and exceptional courtesy shone through, and she helped us arrive at terms we found satisfactory. We thank Megan for all the help in getting to the point of first-time homeowners and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking to purchase a home.

I just wanted to say that Misha did a great job! She really busted her butt on getting as many showings as possible. The flyers were very professional looking and she did a great job capturing what the condo looked like in every picture. The little extra touches made a big difference. She went ahead and purchased a sushi set to add as decoration and color for the kitchen, and also a plant for the living room. Our experience with Tom Okon at Dream Town was fantastic, and I will recommend that any of my friends hoping to relocate to Chicago work with Tom. Tom is absolutely low pressure, which we really appreciated, but was also available any time we had questions. I can't emphasize enough how impressed and grateful we were for Tom's responsiveness. I really didnt like to work with real estate agents (I had many bad experiences) until I met Marcia Badillo. She is just the best and changed my mind about their job. I remember when I met her she did not sound desperate like many others real estate agents who Ive met before. She just asked me for details and my permission to send me some properties that I might be interested in. I spent some time looking at properties with her and saw how professional she was at her job. Buying your first piece of real estate whether it is a condo, duplex, or single family home can be quite a daunting task. I knew pretty much what I wanted and in what neighborhood, but I had so many questions and didnt know who to ask. I signed up about a year ago to get updates from Dream Town Realty off of their web site and after answering a few simple questions I began receiving e-mails of potential properties that fit my criteria. No one bothered me or called me to pressure me into anything, I received updates about twice a week and I would look them over but wasnt sure I was ready to act on anything. When the time came and I began to get more serious about my search I requested to look at a few places and got a phone call that afternoon from Jill Hare, one of the realtors at Dream Town. She could not have been any more helpful or patient with me and that is certainly what I needed being a first time buyer with many questions. Over the span of about a month she worked around my hectic schedule to set up appointments to see potential places. As we walked through sites she would ask me questions and then go back to the office and send me more listings with my new requirements. After seeing probably 20 places we found what I was looking for and I say we because throughout the process I felt like Jill and I were working as a team to find the right place. She completely explained my options when it came to making an offer and I ended up getting the place I wanted at the price I wanted. I have come away from this whole process feeling very comfortable with everything that I did. I just wanted to say that Misha did a great job! She really busted her butt on getting as many showings as possible. The flyers were very professional looking and she did a great job capturing what the condo looked like in every picture. The little extra touches made a big difference.
