In early 2007 I put my condo up for sale in the Lakeview area of Chicago. I used Mark Miles and Bonnie Kirincic-Reyburn as my realtors. My experience with them and with Dreamtown was a success. My condo was under contract in 16 days and the closing happened about 2 months after the initial listing. I felt comfortable dealing with Mark as he really listened to me with regard to how I wanted to price the condo. He added his expert opinions and together we came up with a price that worked. Additionally, Mark and Bonnie went above and beyond to make this real estate transaction smooth and easy for me. For example, the new buyer asked to have the floors sanded before closing. Mark and Bonnie not only had a "floor guy" to recommend, but they also contacted him for me, priced it out and also opened my condo for him to do the work. I did not have to be involved at all and the job was done within days. Also, any correspondence that was needed, they came to my office to pick up and drop off. I work long hours and do not have a lot of extra time during the day for these types of things. With Mark and Bonnie at the helm, I felt well taken care of, and they were ready to solve any issue or snag as soon as it came up. Finally, the communication level with Mark and Bonnie was great. Bonnie was in contact with me multiple times during the negotiations phase and made me feel well informed and reassured. I would recommend Mark and Bonnie, as they exceeded my expectations with their level of service.

As out of town buyers we really appreciated the time you took to familiarize us with the city. After the time we spent together at the beginning of this process we felt like we had a good understanding of the different neighborhoods. It is hard to put a value on just how important the time you took with us at the beginning was but we felt that you went above and beyond.
In the past we have been inundated with homes to view by our realtors. It was therefore a very refreshing change to be provided exclusively with properties that met our requirements. With young children the prospect of traveling around a city all day looking at properties is not all that appealing. However, the fact that we never wasted a trip, together with the fact that you also helped to keep Gavin entertained when Sadie and I were snooping around made it surprisingly enjoyable!!
The area in which you have most exceeded our expectations has been with the post sale services that you have offered, and continue to offer. In every other real estate transaction that I have been through once the money was in the bank the realtor was gone. I could only tell you the name of one other realtor that we have ever used and that is because she ultimately ended up becoming a family friend. None the less, when I told her about everything you had done for us during our process she did not hesitate to tell us how lucky we were and that, in her opinion, you had gone way above anything that could reasonably have been expected by even the most demanding buyer.
We love our new home and I can assure you that, when it is time to move on, we will not even consider using anyone but you.

I want to pass along high regards to Dream Town Realty and my realtor Beverly Bahm. I was a first time homebuyer and consequently found the home buying process overwhelming at times. I stumbled across Dream Town on Google and was pleasantly surprised how user friendly their website was and the vast listings they had, or at least in the South Loop where I was looking. More specifically, one of my favorite features to Dream Town's website (once your logged in) is the View My Favorites link which saves all your favorite listings in one easy to find link on their site. Not rocket science but really helps streamline your search process.
After filling up my favorite list I blindly walked into Dream Town's office and luckily stumbled into Beverly Bahm. Beverly and I worked closely together for 6+ months and I can vouch for her professionalism, real estate knowledge, patience and her ability to successful broker a deal. All those positive attributes were clearly displayed when I/we went to contract in a dicey situation (my call) where the condo building was in the middle of a $4 million lawsuit with its developer. I loved the unit and with Beverly's help we negotiated an equitable deal to help offset the future special assessment. In the end, I realized this was a headache I didn't need and Beverly quickly and smoothly got us out of the contract. Thank God!!!
That experience really took the wind out of my sail but Beverly stuck with me and after hitting the pavement, more showings, I found my dream condo. I've been in my new condo for four months now and couldn't be any happier. 100% customer satisfaction.

I moved to Chicago from Washington, DC in August of 2007. My search for a home began on the internet, where I found Dream Town's user-friendly website, and my agent, Marcia Badillo. I e-mailed Marcia and warned her that my price range was under $250K -- I'm a teacher -- and that I didn't want even to look at anything I couldn't afford. My timeframe was also very tight -- I could only come to Chicago for one day to look for a new place to live. None of this seems to bother Marcia or deter her from giving me outstanding service. She treated me as if I were a million-dollar client, not someone who could barely afford to buy in this market. I arrived early in the morning on a Monday in May, she showed me the 14 properties we had singled out on the web in advance, and by 11:45am we were in a coffee shop in Rogers Park making an offer and writing a check for earnest money. She was patient, supportive, and worked within my parameters and brought all her skills and knowledge to the table. She referred me to an exceptional attorney who handled all my affairs, even from long distance. When my condo in DC didn't close on time due to a deed-filing error (not under my control), she stuck by me and communicated with the attorney and the seller's agent on a daily basis until we finally closed a month later.
I couldn't imagine a more positive experience than working with Marcia.

I met Michelle via the Dream Town website. I was looking for a live-work loft space -- someplace unique and different, that would offer me the opportunity to use my skills as a designer and artist to create a space that was truly my OWN -- not a cookie cutter condo. I picked out two listings that I wanted to see and we talked a bunch about EXACTLY what I wanted. In addition to the two I picked out, Michelle said that she had another property in mind to show me. We went to see the properties and the one she picked out was IT. It was an amazing 2600 sq ft raw warehouse/loft space -- with parking and roof rights! From beginning to end, Michelle was there -- assisting me in successfully negotiating a deal, helping my lawyer and me with attorney review, and generally guiding the transaction. We worked with Megan for several months in 2007 to purchase a home near Jasons new job in southern Chicago while we were living in Nashville, TN. Eventually, with Megans help, we found exactly what we were looking for in Evergreen Park. In April, after talking to a few different agents, we were quickly convinced that we wanted to work with Megan. Even while we were still in Nashville and only able to look at houses online, Megans obvious willingness to help was entirely evident to us; she was always very prompt and informative in her communication with us. When we traveled to Chicago for 10 days to find our home-to-be, Megans input was invaluable. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to truly listen to her clients. As she became more familiar with our own tastes, preferences, and priorities, she tailored the list of homes we were to visit during our limited time, a process aided by her extensive knowledge of the market and neighborhoods. Megan was also attentive to issues we might not have realized without her guidance, such as neighboring properties or the amount of closet space in a home.
After we found the house we wanted to purchase (she probably knew by our reactions to seeing the home that we wanted to buy even before we had settled on that decision!), Megan worked with us and the selling agent to negotiate and draw up an appropriate sales contract. This turned out to be more difficult that any of us had anticipated, in part because we had to be back in Nashville during part of the process. Although the selling agent often seemed discourteous and unwilling to negotiate reasonably, Megans impeccable professionalism and exceptional courtesy shone through, and she helped us arrive at terms we found satisfactory. We thank Megan for all the help in getting to the point of first-time homeowners and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking to purchase a home.
