We looked East, West, North, South, High and Low . . . just because I wanted to be sure I was in a neighborhood and place that I wanted. The bedrooms in my price point were too small in Wicker Park. In the south loop I could only afford a one bedroom when a two bedroom was what I wanted. She was patient and was eager to go out again and again, showing me place after place. Not only will I recommend her to my friends and family, I will use her again personally next time I buy. I ended up with more than a great condo in the process; I ended up with a friend.

West LoopI came across Chad Vanags purely by coincidence when I was doing research about lofts in Chicago from my then current home in Abilene, Texas. Chadā¬"s picture and contact information just happened to be attached to the loft I had as number one on my list. This was nothing short of a miracle for me and my husband, John, because Chad turned out to be amazing at his job, full of useful information about the new city we were moving to, and ultimately became a friend. How many people looking for a new home get all of that?
I spoke to Chad on the phone and by email numerous times before our initial house hunting trip to Chicago. I had new questions and concerns nearly every day and Chad was so kind and timely with his answers. I never had to wait more than a few hours before he responded with my answers and usually provided additional related information. Chad also seemed to have a real grasp of what my husband and I were looking for from our phone conversations.
Armed with a notebook full of MLS listings that I had carefully highlighted and painstakingly considered I met Chad for the first time when he picked me up outside my hotel. My first reaction was to think how young he was and in the back of my mind worry a little bit about his lack of experience. How silly that was! Chad and I whizzed around the city racing from one property to another. This may sound like a bad thing, but I assure you it was not. My husband and I knew EXACTLY what we did and didnā¬"t like and it was very easy for me to determine quickly if we liked it. At this pace we were able to cram in 10-12 properties each day maximizing my time and my trip to Chicago. So much so, that my husband and I decided to make an offer on a loft in the West Loop. This is when Chad really went from being our Realtor to our advocate!
Little did we know that the sellers and the sellerā¬"s agent where going to be completely difficult and unyielding in the negotiation process. Chad went to bat for us over and over again. And it was a real battle from beginning to end. The seller and his agent made each and every step as miserable as I believe anyone could, but Chad was there each time puffing out his chest on our behalf. At the walk through there were numerous issues with the property which had been agreed to but had not been addressed. John and I trusted Chad so much by that time that we asked him to do the final walk through the morning of the closing because of the ridiculous hour that it was scheduled for with the full confidence that if he thought it was okay that it would be. And it was!
Throughout our entire experience Chad worked to ease our anxiety and make our move easy and fun. Not once did Chad ever act as if he was frustrated, irritated or even angry. He was a thorough joy to work with and is a true asset to your company.

I had to fly in on a few occasions to look at properties and Mark always had the showings lined up allowing me to see what I wanted in the least amount of time possible.
Since I moved from out of state, Mark dealt with the small issues for me that must be done for a move that I couldn't handle long distance. For example, he worked with the alderman's office for moving truck parking permits, and he really looked out for us in all aspects. I was ready to pay full price for my home, but Mark negotiated a lower selling price, even though that meant a lower commission for him. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark if you want an agent who has your best interests in mind.

Logan SquareI am writing to you regarding my experience with Misha Immormino, our Realtor for the simultaneous sale of our condo and purchase of our home this fall/winter.
My husband and I had an excellent relationship with Mrs. Immormino and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a real estate transaction. She was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in every step of the process. She came prepared to our interviews for a Realtor and spent an hour with us showing us examples of how she would market our home and how she would assist us in our search for a new place. We interviewed five agents from various firms, including those who worked at boutique agencies to the big name real estate companies. We also spoke to agents who had many years of experience.
Mrs. Immormino was upfront with the fact she has only been in this job less than a year. While that initially was a concern for us, she answered every question we asked of her with intelligence and passion. What also impressed us was her willingness to do research and ask questions if she did not know the answer immediately. Unlike two of the more-experienced agents we interviewed who tried to steer us from the housing regions we sought, Mrs. Immormino did no such thing and helped us find several locations in our price range.
We looked at several homes before we found the one we wanted and she offered several examples of how to proceed in the bidding process.
The purchase of our home went smoothly up until the final walk-through, when the previous home owners left the home in a disheveled state. The agent of the homeowners tried to ignore our calls, but Mrs. Immormino was assertive up to and through the closing. She held the previous owners agent to a monetary concession before we would sign the papers. Mrs. Immormino even answered questions from us after the closing, when she had no obligation to do so.
Regarding the sale of our condo, she was aggressive in marketing the place and was helpful in helping us get the condo in order and coming up with a price. We had a strong interest in our unit, nearly daily showings until a final offer. The only misstep she might have had was not doing an open house soon after the listing, but considering that we had an offer (which eventually fell through) by the first showing, it was understandable. The sale of our unit went fast - within two weeks - despite the fact it was listed in late October, traditionally a slow time for home sales.
We were fortunate to get into a bidding war for our condo and Mrs. Immormino was able to guide us through our options, offering suggestions of how to handle this windfall.
On the Dreamtown website, Mrs. Immormino's biography discusses her passion for service and this is no understatement. Even before we signed on with Dreamtown, she answered emails promptly and at anytime of the day. Whenever there were developments in the home sale/search, Mrs. Immormino called/emailed/faxed as soon as she could. Additionally, she quickly returned phone calls. I never had to wait long for a returned message. Other agents we contacted were less assertive in their initial business dealings, and Mrs. Immormino's emphasis on service was a big factor in our decision to sign with Dreamtown.
Overall, we had an exceptionally talented agent in Mrs. Immormino and Dreamtown is fortunate to have such a dedicated worker. I am sure she will continue to impress future clients and be an excellent representative for Dreamtown.

In short, Misha (and as a result, Dream Town) was great. Though completely professional throughout, after the first week of looking at properties, it was like going to look at them with a friend. Misha never pressured me to look at properties that I didn't show interest in. She never pressured me to make an offer. But she made sure to tell me what she liked and didn't like about places, often helping me think of things that maybe I wouldn't have. As I mentioned earlier, after the first week or so, we were on the same page and we could both tell whether or not I liked the place (or if she did). Misha was great to work with and reflects very well upon Dream Town. I will recommend her to any friend of mine that is in the market for a real estate agent in the future. And, as she was nice enough to come to a holiday/house warming party I threw recently, let me also let you know that she makes great jalapeno poppers.

This was all at our own pace; we never felt pressured to look at anything we weren't interested in.
Beverly referred us to various other people we would need such as lawyers, inspectors and mortgage brokers who also helped us along the way. Beverly was there through every step, even though she didn't need to be. We had a few bumps in the purchasing road due to the lack of professionalism on the developer's side, but through everything Beverly helped us and made us confident that everything would be fixed. She went above and beyond, and for that we are thankful. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor.

South LoopIt was a pleasure working with Veronica to find my new home. We had a lot of laughs and a few disappointments (no fault of hers) along the way. Very early in the process she shared with the me the importance of, and the knowledge of, good buildings and good neighborhoods. It took me a while to figure out exactly where I wanted to live, and frankly, I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Her patience and good humor helped me shape the ideas that eventually got me in this great place. What was most impressive about Veronica is the amount of investment she showed me. I am not a high end buyer but I can't recall a time that she didn't call me back right away or be quickly ready to see some more properties. And when a deal fell through because of some shenanigans by the seller, I think she felt worse than I did! But quickly, she was able to locate a better place at a comparable price and a better mortgage rate! I would never hesitate to recommend Veronica to anyone looking for a home and if and when I want or need to sell mine, I'm calling Veronica!
