She went ahead and purchased a sushi set to add as decoration and color for the kitchen, and also a plant for the living room. I did get positive feedback on those things when I showed the place the one time when Misha was very sick. Let's just say that Misha was worth every penny! I definitely wouldn't have had enough time to show and sell my condo with my crazy schedule. Again, thank you for making my first condo selling experience an easy one!

LakeviewOur experience with Tom Okon at Dream Town was fantastic, and I will recommend that any of my friends hoping to relocate to Chicago work with Tom. Tom is absolutely low pressure, which we really appreciated, but was also available any time we had questions. I can't emphasize enough how impressed and grateful we were for Tom's responsiveness. Not only did he answer all our questions to him right away, but sometimes we cc'd him on emails with questions directed to other parties in the process and Tom was the first one to respond and answer those questions! Tom is very knowledgeable about the process of home-buying and we came to trust and rely on his expertise, and he is also a fun and interesting person to spend time with (which is good, since we definitely put in some time looking at homes!) Tom listened to what we wanted and showed us a number of places that fit exactly what we were looking for--and we ended up in a home that we are very excited about! Tom was also very helpful during the negotiation stage, giving advice when we asked for it but, again, never pressuring us one way or the other. Overall we had a great experience buying our first home, and much of the credit goes to Tom.

I lived out of state at the time so I was very nervous about buying a place from so far away. Jim is the kind of person who you meet once - and instantly you just know you can trust him. Erika, however, knew a good deal when she saw it, and encouraged us to stay in, while also supporting us if we decided to pull out. Although she knew it was good for us to stay in the deal, she never pressured us. I remember when I met her she did not sound desperate like many others real estate agents who I've met before. She just asked me for details and my permission to send me some properties that I might be interested in. I spent some time looking at properties with her and saw how professional she was at her job. It did not take me long to realize that if I really wanted to sell my place, Marcia would be the best choice. I had my condo for "sale by owner" and I needed to purchase a single family home.
The best part is that my condo was sold in one week. Marcia also helped me with many others aspects of the process. My attorney was not the best and missed important details that Marcia pointed out before the closing date. Communication with the buyer was very difficult, and the developer of the new home that I was buying as well. I think without her experience it wouldn't have been that easy or it may not have happened.
Today I have a new construction single family home and I am very happy!

Not only did you have the information pulled on the property, but you had the comp set in addition to what they were offering to potential buyers (which as it turns out, was lower in your MLS) than what they offered me as a walk-in.
Consequently you saved me over $2,000 right off the bat. This type of work ethic is what distinguishes those that are average and those that are exceptional. I would have no hesitation is utilizing your services and or referring you to others.

She thought I was exaggerating. I wasn't.
Amy never rushed me to take something that wasn't exactly what I was looking for . . . which was a condo that had an alternative layout that I could actually afford.
I think she was completely prepared to continue looking despite the fact that my availability inevitably landed on a day it was 20 degrees and sleeting outside. She was wonderfully professional and even more importantly a real trooper. Her services have extended from the initial search right down to sending me a list of things to do for my move. You can't go wrong with that level of service!

We had a purchase contract on a home and a significant sum of money tied up and absolutely no prospective buyers for our unit. It was at this point when we called Nykea. After only two showings we received two contracts and the one we ultimately accepted was more than 97% of our asking price. Our deal closed on both properties the week of April 14, 2006.
