Dear Brooke,
I am a proud owner of a condo in Lincoln Park! I can't believe we did it! Though I have lived in close to 20 different homes in my life, this is the first that I have initiated and bought by myself.
Life is so interesting. I mentioned my intentions to a friend in Hilton Head, SC who immediately put me in touch with you. My timing was terrible as I began the process when I was visiting Chicago over Christmas. However, you were not deterred by schedule or wintry weather! You lined up a variety of condos to see on that first trip. The variety and our discussions helped me, and you, to refine my parameters and my search. After that initial trip, you would send me listings over the internet, I would sort them out and then my onsite family would further sort. Several times my son and/or daughter did the actual visits instead of me, thanks to your flexibility.
By my return the second week of February, you had compiled a list of real possibilities, including one that you and they thought would be the winner. You were right! We closed at the beginning of March.
I appreciate your tenacity in pursuing the 'right' condo for me. You knew your territory well and were able to guide me into an area that appears to be a good fit. You were well organized and left nothing to chance. You were a tiger when you needed to be, but always good company. I appreciated your presence on the final walk through and in the closing, which was quick and seamless. Your networking resources continue to be of great help to me.
So, thanks for a job well done. I will enjoy sending others your direction.
