    Capron may not have a lot of developed land, but the residential neighborhoods offer a good variety of homes with large lots and plenty of small-town comforts. Tall trees line the streets and the dwellings are set far apart from each other. There is a mix of older houses and new construction development in Capron that gives buyers a relatively diverse selection of real estate to choose from.

    The higher price points in Capron can surpass the million-dollar mark for estate-like homes with sprawling grounds and acres of private property. On the other end of the price spectrum are charming two-bedroom houses, many built in the mid-1900s. Most homes in Capron are raised ranches and one- or two-story houses. These range in architectural styles and interior design. Three-bedroom floor plans are fairly common, but some residences have a fourth in their layout. Nearly all of the properties are detached single-family homes. However, there are some condos and townhouses concentrated in a complex off Wooster Street on the village's northwestern side.

    In 2008, the mean price for a home in Capron was just over $188,700. The few attached units and condominiums for sale came in around $204,500 and detached properties hovered around the $184,200 price point.
