New Condo Complex in Chicago’s Historic St. Ben’s Neighborhood
Cityscape Condominiums is a contemporary addition to the traditional setting of St. Ben’s community. The six-building development is still under construction, but four of the four-story condominiums are ready for occupancy and are already being bought up.
The latest numbers reveal a third of the 42-unit residential development is sold. Two and three bedroom condos are available with square footage ranging from 1,200 to 1,860. All floor plans have two bathrooms and two private terraces and/or roof decks. And the three-bedroom residences have secured elevator entrance to their front door. Prices vary from the mid $300,000s to the low $600,000s.
Interior finished include hardwood floors (oak, cherry, maple or bamboo), your choice of paint tones, living rooms wired for surround sound and plasma screen hookups, solid-core doors, and 16” core board sound insulation. The kitchens are fully upgraded with Viking stainless steel gas ranges and refrigerators, Bosch dishwashers, 13/4” granite counters and islands, and 42” handmade cabinets. Master suites feature walk-in closets and a seating area, plus a master spa bathroom equipped with steam and rain forest showers, Whirlpool tubs, oversized wall mirrors, dual-flush toilets, and his & hers vanities with undermount sinks.
The new condo design offers a more modern style than many of the old-fashioned landmark structures in St. Ben’s. However, the low-profile brick exterior and clock tower element allow the development to fit right in with this historic north side Chicago neighborhood. Building amenities include heated garage parking, bike storage, energy efficient windows, professionally landscaped street fronts, and a dog run.
