Dream Town Realty has sponsored a companywide partnership with Chicago-area nonprofit Coat Angels with the goal of providing 4,000 children with new coats. Brokers have pledged donations directly from their closed sales and have already raised $17,250 from their individual giving, already enabling Coat Angels to give new coats to 350 children.
In support of this campaign, Dream Town is also hosting its 9th annual Coat Angels Benefit on Thursday, November 17 at Trigger Chicago (2810 W Addison). The event features live music by The Menards and Bill MacKay. Brokers are committed to this ambitious goal and will be continuing their own outreach efforts throughout the winter season.
“I can’t describe the look on each child’s face when they receive their own brand new coat, hat, and gloves,” says Dream Town president Yuval Degani. “It’s an amazing experience, especially at this time of year.”
Coat Angels was founded in 2006 with the mission to ensure that no children have to endure Chicago’s winters without new, warm clothing. Since its inception, the organization has helped thousands of children citywide, and continues to partner with local businesses such as Dream Town to keep growing its reach and ability to give aid.
