When Stephanie Wesson first came to Chicago over ten years ago, she knew two people in the entire city. "Now I have a wealth of clients, colleagues, and friends, which speaks to the importance I place on building and maintaining strong relationships," said Wesson. Her real estate clients can feel confident that Wesson will put their needs first, and that the relationship they've built doesn't close or stop when the transaction has ended. "I see my relationships with clients as lifelong ones, and so I always endeavor to provide them with the best possible service," said Wesson. "I recognize that peoples' real estate purchases/sales represent huge fiscal decisions — some of the largest ones they will ever make. So I respect the process and treat them and it accordingly". Stephanie also positions herself with key transactional partners (lenders, attorneys, inspectors) that share her commitment to excellent service, so the client knows they're in good hands.

"I'd like to think I have a good balance between the expertise of left-brain and right-brain activity, which is a significant benefit to my clients. For example, the right brain allows me to see a 'vision' of each space and whether or not it meets or can meet my clients' needs and desires. Once decided, the left brain allows me to run the comps/numbers, efficiently interpret that data, and negotiate aggressively on my clients' behalf."

Stephanie was "Rookie of the Year" her first year in Real Estate, and has been a CAR (Chicago Association of Realtors) recognized "top producer" every year since. She has dealt with clients in a myriad of price-points and in every possible buying and selling situation. She is very proud that client loyalty has made her business almost 98% referral-based.

Stephanie lives in River North with her 10-year old chocolate lab Max, the "best dog on the planet" according to his owner. For recreation, she loves to cook, sample fine wines, and travel the world skiing and sightseeing. Further, she is a sportswoman, participating in local runs and distance triathlons. Stephanie takes her commitment to her city seriously as a volunteer for literacy awareness, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Shedd Aquarium, among others.

  • Stephanie helped us decide how to best stage the condo. I painted, wall papered, changed out light fixtures and made everything look new with cleaning as she requested. She brought in flowers, made beds, put dishes in the dishwasher (when I forgot or wasn't prepared) and even watched our two cats when we were out of town. She really put a lot of effort in to getting our hard to sell condo sold. With the four flat, there were only a few suggestions on how to stage the building that we completed. She was very considerate of my great tenants to make sure that her showings did not inconvenience or surprise them. As a result, they were friendly and considerate to potential buyers - that always helps! She got it sold quickly for a good price. Our purchase was more difficult since we wanted a 3 or 4 flat. She looked with us for over a year. She was excellent about following up on questions and very professional. There are a lot of bad agents out there. We highly recommend Stephanie.
