Mitch has been investing in the Chicago real estate market since 1996 and has developed a keen eye for great investments in the city. He also has worked with many relocation clients. Mitch is dedicated to helping his clients find the right property for their specific needs, while handling the entire process with integrity and honesty.

He truly enjoys meeting a wide array of people and helping them find the perfect home to fit their personalities. One of his favorite things to do in his free time is to explore "off the beaten path" parts of town and discover the city's hidden gems. You never know; Mitch may even discover that special home for you while on one of his many jaunts around town. Mitch also volunteers regularly with the Rotary Club preparing and serving meals to the homeless.

Mitch truly prides himself on his professionalism and "can do" attitude, which makes him an exceptional agent for all your real estate needs. Mitch graduated from Indiana University at Bloomington with a B.A. in Political Science.

    I am very grateful to have worked with Mitch Gardberg while buying my first property. Mitch was proffesional, available, and responsive at all times. He took time to explain every last detail involved with buying a property, and made sure I was comfortable with everything. I truely believe that Mitch looked out for my interests throughout the entire process. I did not come to terms on the first place I made an offer, but was able to on the second. During both negotiations, Mitch kept encouraging me to slow down the process, not get ahead of myself, and make sure I got the best deal I possibly could. Mitch really cared more about making sure I got the best deal possible than making sure a deal closed. Mitch's advice throughout the negotations really helped me remain focused and calm, which is difficult during that stressful time. I used my brother-in-law for the home inspection, and a close family friend as my attorney. Both remarked that they've rarely seen realtors who looked after their client's interests the way Mitch did. I would highly recommend using Mitch to anyone who is looking for a realtor, and will certainly use his services again when I move.

    Although we were fairly sure we knew what we wanted from a new home, as first time buyers we were also absolutely clueless about the whole property buying process. We contacted Dream Town during the Christmas Holidays and were surprised to be able to arrange a meeting with Mitch Gardberg before the end of the year. At that meeting Mitch clearly explained every step involved, from viewing properties to making an offer and moving in. We were also able to see three condos that same afternoon. We didn't find our new home that day but did feel we had found a Realtor we could trust and who would be patient with our novice questions.     As everyone knows, the last couple years have been anything but ideal for selling real estate. However, having retired in August of 2010 and anxious to be with my family in Colorado, I was determined to sell my Chicago "Gold Coast" Condo and determined to find the right real estate agent - I succeeded on both counts!

    After interviewing several Real Estate Agents, it quickly became apparent that Mitch Gardberg of Dream Town Realty would be the man for the job. Mitch is both professional and personable; he made the whole "selling process" a positive as well as successful experience.
