His diverse background in sales and marketing and his prior experience as a service industry manager developed his skill in top notch customer service and relationship building. He got into real estate in 2006 after buying his first condo in the South Loop. He realized his past work experiences could be bundled into one career that was exciting and fun and occasionally crazy and stressful! Michael creates the balance in his work day by becoming a more knowledgeable REALTORŪ, working hard, staying determined, and having a passion for the business.
Michael knows the ins-and-outs of the foreclosure business in detail. He was the main valuation officer for a company that sold foreclosures. His job was to determine the economic value of property. To "get it right" Michael took appraisal classes. He has since developed a keen sense of reading the real estate market and finding the market value of a property. This niche allows him to find great investment deals, either to rehab/flip or to hold and rent for income. Michael continues to work with investors and developers to find great investment deals.
Having lived in the city for over ten years Michael has an extensive knowledge of Chicago. He knows each neighborhood is different and has unique characteristics. In his downtime, Michael has a strong passion for football and music. He played football as a child that developed into a love of the game. He follows the NFL closely. He began playing the guitar as a teenager and has since picked up bass guitar and piano. He records music at home in his downtime. Michael also enjoys going to all of Chicago's great restaurants, working out, and finding time to get on or near the water whenever possible. He has also recently picked up golf. Fore!
