My wife and I used Jennifer South as our realtor in a search for a city property in the Chicago. Jennifer displayed to us a degree of professionalism and dedication that was second to none. Jennifer drove hundreds of miles showing us many places. She was always on time and had a smile on her face no matter how difficult our needs were. We would use the word "terrific" to describe your work on our behalf except for one thing: That wouldn't come close to describing your efforts. We had a lot riding on getting a sale done quickly and at a top price. And you did indeed perform wonderfully well. Because of your hard work and creative thinking, we were able to sell our house in two months in the worst real estate market in anybody's memory. Not only that, but we were able to get, by a significant margin, the highest price ever for our street in Old Town.
That scenario wouldn't have unfolded without your complete dedication to us as your client. You not only worked long hours and were thorough in your approach; you also were willing to do whatever it took to finish the task. Mary and I will always carry in our heads the visual image of you in our house cleaning the surface burners, adjusting drawers and shelves and washing countertops to ensure that the house was ready for the final walk-through by a very demanding buyer. To say that you went above and beyond the call of duty is an easy call.
Finally, thanks to a closing transaction that included a developer/contractor, us -- the anxious sellers, a complex deal, two realtors and three lawyers, it was necessary for you to do a balancing of interests that was challenging, at the least.

I can't thank you enough for everything you did in helping me with the sale of my house and purchase of my new condo. When we first met, I was overwhelmed with the task ahead. You helped me approach it step by step. The contractor you recommended was excellent, and I had him do work on both the house and the condo. The attorney you suggested using handled both of my closings, and I would use him again as well.

Zora and I recently worked with Jennifer South in selling Zora's condo and purchasing a new one about four blocks away in the Gold Coast area.
Zora's an attorney and a tough customer to satisfy in general. Both of us were very impressed with Jennifer's ability to quickly establish her credibility and competence. She did her homework and was well informed of current market conditions in both the selling and purchasing neighborhoods. She maximized the selling price and negotiated special items to extend the closing date, allowing us to move into our new place and avoid the cost and hassle of temporary housing.

When I decided to sell my condominium home of 17 years I wanted to use a friend who knew how much I loved it.

Jennifer is definitely the type of realtor we needed in this uncertain, highly competitive market. When Chris and I decided to sell our condominium we thought that the process would be simple and that hiring an agent was a formality. However, after working with Jennifer for a short time, we realized that what we thought we knew only began to scratch the surface of buying and selling a property in Chicago.
