Job transfers had Duane moving to Chicago twice, once in 1978 and again in 1981. The second time he was here to stay. His job brought him here, his love for the city made him call it home. Duane loves the energy of the city, the size, the culture, a true Midwestern city full of diversity and friendliness. There isn't much Duane hasn't seen in his twenty years of selling real estate in the Windy City. He cites the excitement of seeing neighborhoods morph to the needs of the community, public transportation change the dynamic of a neighborhood, and watched as neighborhoods reinvented themselves. Duane has sold properties from the lake front to Oak Park and Evanston to the South Side.

Prior to becoming a realtor Duane sent his days as Marketing VP for a mutual fund company and helped develop an investment product for the newly developed 401K market. One of Duane's responsibilities was to help individual stock brokers work with their small and medium sized corporate clients to set-up and install 401K plans. Duane recalls employee enrollment meetings as one of the best parts of his job. What made it the best was it allowed Duane to teach people how they could grow wealth on their own. Enter real estate -- Duane uses those same skills to guide each of his clients to the best wealth building transaction of their own. Whether your home is a condo in Lakeview, a single family home in Oak Park or a two-flat in Beverly, Duane understands the real estate market in Chicagoland and uses that information.

Duane is the proud father of two sons, one a retired master sergeant from the Marine Corps residing in California and another son a paramedic in suburban Minneapolis. To add to his job, Duane is the ever beaming grandpa of two grandsons and a granddaughter. Guess which one stole his heart? When not selling real estate Duane spends his free time traveling, some of his favorite haunts are the West Coast, England and France.
