    If you're looking for an amazingly bright, thorough, ingenious, well-organized, extremely informed realtor, look no further because Dee Savic is your lady! Ok, so maybe you're not convinced yet, but by the end of my testimonial, I hope you will be! A little background on me: single, no kids, moved to Chicago from LA in 2006, have a home in LA and bought my first home in Chicago with Dee's assistance, but boy was it a BUMPY ride... not through any fault of Dee's; if it weren't for her, I don't think I would have made it.In Jan. 2009 I put in my offer on my dream home. In February I got my wallet stolen and a day later was laid off from my job. A month later I got a new job and in the interim the house went back on the market but someone else's offer was accepted. I refused to give up on my dream home and prayed and prayed it would come back to me. A week later, Dee called and said, "Lucy, you're the luckiest lady I know, the house is back on the market!" We immediately put in a new offer. I was one of five offers and mine won! But the roller coaster hadn't started moving yet. The same day we went to do the inspection on the property, I fell victim to serious identity theft! Meanwhile, I was having issues with the loan on my first home back in LA. So, I started defaulting on the home in LA while trying to close on the new home in Chicago! I was very honest with Dee from the get go and was shocked that she never left my side and never gave up on me or my home, despite the numerous obstacles we incurred! It was a 6 week battle and I was told the deal should be canceled FOUR TIMES, but I never gave up and neither did Dee! In the end I was ready to give up all of my savings in order to close the deal but she fought tooth and nail to save the deal AND to make sure not one extra penny came out of my savings above the amount that was initially agreed on! If not for Dee's faith in me, her ability to think quick on her feet, her constant desire to help me find a way to obtain my dream home (all the while knowing that if I didn't close on this home, by the following month my perfect credit would be tarnished and I wouldn't be able to get approved on a new home) and her constant follow ups with everyone from the attorney to the selling agent to the asset manager... well, I would not have been able to close on my new home in Chicago and I wouldn't have made such an amazing new friend! She's not just a realtor! She will care for you, your family, and your personal situation and will go above and beyond the call of duty at all hours of the day to make sure you get the home you want!

    When my sister and I decided to relocate from Salt Lake City, we targeted New York, Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago. While browsing condos on the Dreamtown website there was a pop-up asking me if I needed help which I responded to and I connected with Dee Savic. Right away Dee zeroed in on what we were looking for, suggesting Lincoln Park and Lakeview as neighborhoods she thought we would like. She started sending us condos that met our criteria. We decided to go to Chicago and look at the condos available. Dee shown us 23 condos in 2 days. We came away thinking that we could be happy in many of them. After a few months of trying to sell our condo in Salt Lake we decided to rent it and move to Chicago. We contacted Dee and she found us several properties that met our criteria and we were able to focus on three for our final decision. We ended up in a condo in a building and neighborhood that we really like. We found Dee to be the ideal realtor, she listened to our needs, she was proactive and stayed on top of all the details as our transaction was complicated by buying from another state.     I was a first-time buyer down on my luck because of a previous condo purchase that had fallen through due to building issues. After months of back and forth, with the part-time help of my good friend and realtor, losing what would've been my first condo to circumstances out of my control was an exhausting and upsetting experience. But, I still had the itch to buy and needed to move fast. My apartment lease was almost up and I needed to find a place to live. I was referred to Dee and couldn't be more thankful; she definitely got the job done!

    From the first phone call, I knew I was with the right person; she was up for the challenge. She exhibited professionalism throughout and was persistent in searching the MLS for the most up-to-date listings that corresponded with my criteria. She found a place minutes after it was posted and was on the phone scheduling a showing; impressing both me and the seller's realtor who couldn't believe she was being asked to show the place so quickly. This was just one of many viewings where we were one of the first people to see a property in search of the perfect place with the clock ticking.

    Dee helped me with offers on two condos: both were complex sales. One I lost to an investor who outbid me and the other became mine — a foreclosure that I now call home. My purchase was complex and a lot of tedious work was involved (we had issues with the condo association, the bank, the inspector, the lawyer, etc.,) but Dee helped smooth out the bumps — several of which didn't fall under her responsibility as my realtor, but she helped out any way.

    Don't let her sweet face fool you, she's a fierce professional who strives to get the perfect place for her clients. I would highly recommend her to anyone — she gets the job done.

    Once upon a time, a little girl, who is now a young woman, wanted to live in the Windy City. She didn't have much for a down payment, so her parent's decided to surprise her with a monetary gift. But before her parent's told her the news of the gift, her mother searched the internet for a Realtor. Not being too computer savvy, the Mother entered very specific information on the type of property, location and other criteria that she wanted to research before telling her daughter of the surprise. She received a quick response from Dream Town Realtor, Dee Savic. Dee, immediately jumped into action and before the week was up, my daughter learned of her surprise and sighed a contract in the exact location she wanted to live. She was so happy and excited. It was perfect! This was a short sale. We knew it would take time, however, Dee, kept us informed almost everyday. She referred an attorney that was fantastic! She stayed on top of the deal from beginning to end. Every email question was answered and every phone call was returned. Dee, always spoke with a smile in her voice and always projected a professional personality. She is truly the Realtor that was meant to work with us. I don't think the deal would have closed without Dee's expertise. Short sales are demanding when it comes to forms and required information.
