Craig Franzen provides his clients with a steady and confident guide for the complex process of buying or selling real estate—a temperament which he cultivated in his prior career as a trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Board of Trade. His ability to handle pressure, negotiate deals, and build positive business relationships translated smoothly into his real estate work. Craig also offers a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive network of professional contacts, including inspectors, attorneys, lenders, and tradesmen. He focuses on residential properties and commercial investments, and has earned the titles of Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS).
Craig has lived in the Chicago area for 18 years, and has particular expertise in the housing markets of West Loop, West Town, and Little Italy. Outside of his work as a broker, he enjoys biking and other fitness activities, spending time with family, and being active in his community. Craig served on the Mary Bartelme Park Advisory Council from 2014 through 2019—two years at Vice President, and three years as a member—and has been a Friends of Mitchell Elementary board member since 2014. Craig loves hockey, and is a coach for the Chicago Jet’s youth hockey club.
